Conservatorio

The Licinio Refice Conservatory of Music was founded in 1972 and soon became one of the main national conservatories in Italy. At present, it has 130 full-time teachers and 1200 students.

Attività

Teaching staff include prestigious personalities in the field of perfomance and research, with experience in classical music, jazz and popular music.

Musical production has made the Conservatory of Frosinone one of the principal cultural centres of the area; artistic and cultural activities aim both to improve the students' education and also to enrich the local cultural scene: there are concert seasons as well as conferences involving teachers, students, alumni, and well-known musicians.

The Conservatory has a Symphony Orchestra and a Jazz Orchestra. In 2009, a recording studio was inaugurated.

Recently, multimedia projects have been realized, including music, poetry and the visual arts.

The Frosinone Conservatory has been involved in international projects since 2005 with excellent results.

And, of course, we welcome Erasmus students and teachers with great pleasure!
